Facebook develop an app for set-top boxes, including Apple TV. About it reports The Wall Street Journal, citing their sources.
According to the newspaper, the new app is one of several projects of the company with which it wants to expand its presence on other platforms and increase ad revenue.
Facebook is also in talks with media companies about licensing of premium content available for TV viewing via the app.
The press service of Facebook declined to comment.
Previously, that in November 2016, the company began testing video ads in applications for TV set-top boxes Apple TV and Roku.
