Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation on issues of development of the Internet German Klimenko believes that the lawsuit is a resident of St. Petersburg with request to block work in Russia social network Facebook is purely the nature of self-promotion. "This is a story. If he had complaints, he would write to Roskomnadzor, but once he was sued — he has other goals. It is likely private PR this man," — said Klimenko.

In his statement of claim activist Bulatov requires "immediate closing activities facebook.com or the lawful enforcement of the laws of the Russian leadership facebook.com". The author cites several reasons for the need to ban Facebook, in particular, a violation of the law on protection of personal data of Russians, the spread of "immoral and anti-family ideologies" and so on.

"The social network facebook.com is a clear threat to national security and Russian law should be blocked for all users in Russia", — said Bulatov.

In Facebook did not comment on the situation. Roskomnadzor also refrained from comment, however, the management Agency has repeatedly stated that it is in constant contact with Facebook and is satisfied with it.

November 30 a lawsuit was registered in the office of the St.-Petersburg city court. Within five days, as required by law, it will be reviewed and a decision will be made on their admission or exclusion to the production.
