Facebook opens in Paris its first startup incubator
In the spring of 2017 Facebook opens in Paris its first startup incubator Startup Garage. It will be located on the campus Station F. this said COO Sheryl Sandberg.
Facebook is already taking applications for participation in the incubator through the page project in a social network. The company plans to offer participants of the program 80 jobs and every six months to work with 10-15 projects.
Campus for startups of Station F was built on the site of the former railway station and will open in April 2017. The area is 34 thousand square meters. It is designed for three thousand jobs.
The project investor is the French billionaire Xavier Niel. To start the Station F needs €250 million. Startups will be able to take advantage of services on campus for €195 per month.
Among the partners of Station F includes French and international venture capital firms, IT companies and organizers of business incubators.
