Lviv GameDev Conference - 7th large-scale annual conference for game developers. The event will bring together around 500 participants: indie-developers, GameDev studios, freelancers, startup entrepreneurs, large companies, and developers who want to join GameDev, publishers and investors, game fans and more than 50 speakers.
The conference will be held on January 27, 2018 in Lviv.
The conference as traditionally will consist of 4 streams and 1 WORKSHOP-room:
- “GameDev Business and Promotion”. A stream for the owners of GameDev-studios as well as marketers and producers. Learn how cybersport made a revolution in the gaming industry and how to benefit from it. We will also talk about investments, trends of the gaming industry and bright successes of the compatriots. How to create a studio and how to manage it. Ideal team for the project and where to find or bring up personnel for the industry.
- “GameDev Tech”. Everything about how to simplify lives of game developers and allows you not to spend years on C++. And this is not only Unity. How to create game applications with AR/VR technologies and how to keep up with it. What technologies are better to choose.
- “GameDev Indie”. Stream for indie developers. Is it possible to create a significant project on your own in the modern world, which themes are relevant for indie developers, indie- lifestyles, success stories of those who went ahead and a lot of interesting. Game Art.
- “GameDev Art”. Level design, creating of characters, music, stories. Creativity in the process of creating a game in its highest manifestation.
- “Workshops”. Some topics require a more detailed discussion than it is possible during a half-hour report. This is a stream of the workshops, where you can learn something new just on the spot.
- Exhibition area is a place where you can present your own developments in a field of the gaming industry (results, technologies, games and products that are useful for the developers etc.), and for the participants who can try all this just here!
However, we have many updates!
This year, we will pay a lot of attention to cybersport and its impact on the gaming industry, and will consider the most popular technological breakthroughs - AR/VR in the field of game development! The event program will be complemented by a game part: showcases, presentation of GameDev developments.
