A Managing Director of social network VK got Andrey Rogozov

Andrew Rogozov, who previously occupied the post of chief operating officer VK, became the Managing Director of the social network. About it reports RNS, with reference to the press service of the Mail.Ru Group.

Under the new Charter of VK, in the company's management will no longer be CEO. To represent the interests of the network and conduct business will be the Managing Director who will be elected for a term of five years by shareholders meeting.

Previously the operational control VK was divided Andrey Rogozov and Dmitry Sergeyev. It happened after Boris Dobrodeyev resigned as head of the VK and was appointed to the post of head of Russian business Mail.ru.

Social network VK was founded in 2006 by Pavel Durov. In 2014, Durov left VK and the company was fully acquired by the holding Mail.Ru Group. Then the holding management has considered Andrew Rogozov as the candidate on a post of the General Director VK. It was assumed that he will lead the development and launch of new products within the social network.
