Recently search engines Google and Bing in the UK signed a voluntary code of practice designed to limit visiting sites with pirated content. The code, developed in collaboration with the office for the protection of intellectual property rights and ministry of culture, media and sport of great Britain will operate from 1 June 2017.

According to the representative of Google, they already have the Pirate algorithm, which is struggling with pirated content in the search results. To make changes or run a new algorithm the company does not intend. Google explained that the voluntary code of practice designed to verify that you have enough to successfully search engines deal with pirated content. The company believes that existing algorithms quite effectively solve this problem.

Previously that for the period July 2012 to 19 February 2017 Google removed from the search results of 1.01 million pirate sites and 2.14 billion URLs.
