Google use neuro translation for Russian language
Google announced that the technology of neural machine translation is now used for translate Russian to English and back.
Innovation should significantly improve the translation quality. It is running in the web version of Google Translate, applications and services for iOS and Android. In addition to the Russian language added Vietnamese and Hindi.
Google introduced the system for neural machine translation (Google Neural Machine Translation system, GNMT) in September of 2016. According to the company, it is superior to all other technologies in this field. The use of GNMT reduces the number of errors in machine translation at 55-85%.
Initially this system was used for the translation from Chinese to English.In November 2016 it began to be used to translate sentences from English to French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Turkish. These languages cover about one third of all transfer requests that Google gets. So the company decided to start with them.
According to representatives of Google, in the coming weeks neuro translation technology will be used for a greater number of languages. In the end, it will be launched for all 103 languages wich works with Google Translate.
