Released a new Yandex.Maps for Windows 10

Today Yandex has introduced a new Yandex.Maps for Windows 10. This is a universal app: it works on all Android devices — smartphones, tablets and computers.

The app contains detailed maps of Russia and many foreign countries. 1863 maps of cities available offline. If you pre-load the map on your device, you can view it and search for addresses and organization is possible even without Internet access. All the charts — vector, so they will not take up much space. For example, a map of Moscow weighs 159 megabytes, and a map of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region — 261 megabytes.

Via Yandex.Maps easy to find, whether it be a grocery store, a pharmacy, a cinema or an ATM. The app will show all the relevant organization on the map and each details: opening hours, contacts, the ability to pay by card, and in the case of cafes, bars and restaurants — and average check. Finally the right choice to help photos, and reviews of other visitors.

To the selected place, you can build a route — car, pedestrian or public transport. Motorists Yandex.Maps will offer a way to avoid traffic jams and while driving will show the tooltip — for example, about upcoming maneuvers. Those who are travelling by public transport, using the maps will be able to know which bus or trolley they need, where to sit and where to go.
