Google Search Console began to send out alerts about the necessary to update of the CMS. Yesterday, such a message has got webmasters using older versions of WordPress and Joomla.

In the alert for WordPress users, for example, reads as follows:

Google has detected that your website works on the basis of the old WordPress version is 4.7.0 or 4.7.1. Outdated software may be vulnerable to hacking and malicious attacks that can damage possible to your website visitors. Therefore, we recommend that you upgrade the software on the website as soon as possible.

Now this topic is actively discussed at the forum Google Webmaster Help and WebmasterWorld. However, some webmasters got an alert falsely. Most likely, this is due to a delay in the processing of data by Google.
