Instagram announced that the live streaming feature in Instagram Stories became available for Russian users.
To start the stream, you have to swipe to the right from the ribbon and select Go live in the camera menu. Before you start streaming, Instagram will check the network connection and it will show a countdown (3 seconds). So an streamer will have a few seconds to prepare and start the video.
On air users can enable or disable comments. Also will be able to pin any responses.
After the end of the broadcast the recording will hide from the app. Stream may last no more than an hour.
