Google has decided to negotiate with Russia

As reports the TASS with reference to words of the deputy chief of Legal Department FAS of Russia Larisa Vovkovski, the appeal was received yesterday, 27 February 2017. The terms of the settlement agreement has not yet been discussed.

Google for two years trying to challenge the decision of Antimonopoly Department, recognized U.S. Corporation guilty of abuse of a dominant position on the market of mobile application stores on the Android operating system, but all the courts still took the side of FAS.

In 2016, the FAS has fined Google to 438 million roubles and has demanded to eliminate the violations. Then followed another fine of 1 million rubles for failure to execute orders. Later Igor Artemyev has threatened the management of the company criminal cases and transfer of proceedings to criminal plane. And just last week, the FAS promised to "please" Google in addition to fines and even "numerous surprises' designed to force the American company "to work in Russia as a human."
