Google has updated the documentation for the markup of articles
Google has updated the documentation on the creation of extended snippets for pages of the articles. It now clearly describes the difference between markup for normal pages and AMP.
Previously, the documentation stated the necessary conditions for the appearance of the article in an AMP-the carousel. Now it is clarified that the page may display differently depending on its type: "AMP with structured data" or "non-AMP with structured data".
In the updated recommendations clearly States that the appearance of in AMP-carousel Express page should have the appropriate markings. Otherwise, it will appear in the main Google results.
With regard to the specification of markup, Google also shared recommendations for AMP and non-AMP pages. For example, if for AMP properties such as the headline and image are required, the HTML pages they recommended.
Google has also added a new category for properties – "Ignored". It means that the property can not be included in the markup.
