Google does not punish sites for the lack of outbound links
Recently, Google representative John Mueller reminded that the search engine does not punish websites for lack of links to other resources.
"If the website is not willing to refer to other resources, that's his business. Punishment is not provided," — said the expert.
According to him, this is a personal website, to publish and to whom to refer. If the resource is well caters to their audience, all right.
"If you think that you will be better able to cope with this task – make a website yourself", — said Mueller.
Earlier, a Google spokesman Gary Illyes expressed outrage about the lack of links to external resources news publications. Later, however, John Mueller said that such behavior is not grounds for sanctions.
