Google not advises to use link operator

Yesterday, one of the webmasters via Twitter complained that the link operator returns incorrect data to Google. In response, the representative of search John Mueller advised not to use this operator. For whatever reason, he did not elaborate.

In February 2016 foreign search engine optimizators noticed that the link does not work with many large domains. In response to a question the representative of the search Gary Illyes said that Google has disabled this operator.

At the same time, the search engine has removed a link from the list of operators in the English version of the help. In the Russian version it still appeared in this list. However, at the moment it is not there.
