Google: using CDN for a website is safe

The content delivery network (CDN) safe and their use should not negatively affect the ranking of a website in Google. About it told the representative of the search John Mueller during the last hangout for webmasters.

Some webmasters avoid the CDN being afraid of possible sanctions. According to them, if delivered through the network spamnyh content, Google may penalize all of the sites using it.

In response to these concerns, John Mueller stated that this situation is unlikely:

"I don't think you will have any problems when using a CDN. I've never seen a site that has suffered due to the use of common CDN large number spam resources."

During the hangout, he also added that currently, there is no need to a unique IP.

Recall that in June Google spokesman Gary Illyes asked webmasters to notify technical support of a search engine about all the cases when the transition to the CDN of your website changes significantly, the status of the indexing.
