Google will begin to show the phone numbers of branches in the ads addresses
19 January 2017 Google AdWords will start showing the phone numbers of the branches in the ads with addresses. It is reported by Search Engine Land, citing a letter sent to advertisers in the United States.
Google noted that this change runs in test mode and will not affect all listings with addresses.
Local phone will be displayed even if the ads option is configured to display "phone number" with a different number. The innovation is intended to improve the relevance of your ads which contain the addresses of affiliates or retailers.
Advertisers that point to addresses, it is recommended to check the correctness of phone numbers for all your branch offices and retail networks In Google My Business.
To disable the display of phone numbers of branches in the ad address can be in the form. However, Google warns that it may negatively affect the impressions and as a consequence phone calls.
Google did not say whether this innovation to be tested outside of the United States or not.
