Google keyboard Gboard became available for Android devices
In may this year, Google released the Gboard – a virtual keyboard for iOS with built-in search. Now it is available for devices running Android, reports The Verge.
After upgrading to version 6.0 Google Keyboard app for Android will turn into Gboard. In addition to the new name, it will appear a button with the Google logo, when clicked, will open a search panel. Here you will not only find information, but also quick access to the topics and the settings of the keyboard.
Among other new features appear on the search support for animated GIF images and new languages. Unlike the iOS version, the Android app will also run the voice input function.
The update is available not all users. It can be installed manually by downloading the APK file from APK Mirror.
Recall that in August, the Gboard keyboard for iOS received a major update. The app now has support for five new languages, recommended GIF image and personalization settings.
