Eric Ward founded the Web's first promotion services, called NetPOST and URLwire, in 1994. Today Eric is regarded by many as one of the top link marketing and link building experts in the world. Eric offers services including link building and linking strategy training, along with private consulting, to help companies learn how to generate links, publicity and attention for their Web sites. Eric is one of the 25 online mareting experts featured in the 2008 book Online Marketing Heroes. Eric received the 1995 Tenagra Award For Internet Marketing Excellence, and in 1997 was named one of the Web's 100 most influential people by Websight magazine. Eric also writes the LinkWeek column for search industry news site SearchEngineLand.com, and has written for Web Marketing Today, ClickZ, MarketingProfs, and Ad Age Magazine. Eric and his family live in the shadow of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.
