DuckDuckGo has collected more than 10 billion queries

DuckDuckGo has processed over 10 billion searches and 4 billion just for the year 2016. This was stated in the blog of the search engine.

Analysts Pew Research found that 40% of Americans think the surveillance information within search engines and other Internet services are unacceptable. DuckDuckGo representatives stated that users are actively looking for ways to hide from view advertisers.

DuckDuckGo search engine was released in 2010. A signature feature of the project is the privacy of users. Three years later the company celebrated the achievement of the first billion queries from users. In the fall of 2015 DuckDuckGo became the default search engine in AdBlock browser for iOS and Android. By the end of 2016 year into a search engine sanded more than 10 million times daily.
