Founder and CEO at Pubcon Inc
I love helping people learn about what is super current and super cool in search engine marketing. Running Pubcon I get to stay on the leading edge of all marketing, tech, and what's happening at Google. I spend 3hrs a day just reading tech blogs in order to stay current. I can't read enough to do that to do that on a micro niche level. I am bless that we can tap into experts in every major marketing and tech field to share the latest and greatest at Pubcon.
That means I get to hang out with the hippest, coolest, rock stars of marketing. At last count, I had 50 good friends that have written books on everything from SEO at IBM, to the death of QR codes.
I built Pubcon to be a platform for what is new, what is cool, what is workable, and what you can take home and apply. We started in a Pubcon in London in 2000, with 125 people sharing tips-n-tricks to getting the most out of internet marketing. From there we went on to have more Pub-conferences with leading edge speakers on topics that matter to marketers.
Currently, we are now up to 10 tracks wide over 4 days, with 200+ speakers, 2500+ attendees, and barrels of liquid refreshment at the mega LV conference center.
My path to get there started as a Commodore 64/128 assembly language programmer that jumped into web marketing out of need. We just had to figure out how to get to decent levels of traffic to our websites. Meeting with like minded people turn us all into leading edge internet marketers.
Pubcon - yes it's what I do.
